Student Opportunities

Internships

The Museum offers five paid academic year internships, three paid summer internships, and a full-time year-long graduate internship.

The academic year internships include two positions in the education department, two in the registrar’s office, and one in the curatorial department. Summer internships include one position each in the education department, the curatorial department, and the registrar’s office.

The graduate internship is a full-time position that offers a recent Middlebury College graduate the opportunity to experience every aspect of museum work. This position often works on curatorial writing and research projects, oversees installations of student art in the McCullough Center Gallery, and helps to install and deinstall loan exhibitions within the Museum galleries.
