Henry Chalfant, Photographer and Film Producer who documented New York graffiti art


Screening of the 1983 film Style Wars and Q & A with film producer Henry Chalfant, a photographer who documented the cult and culture of graffiti in New York in the 1970s and 80s. Chalfant offers first-hand knowledge of the phenomenon of rampant street art in conjunction with the exhibition Outside In: Art of the Street. Co-sponsored by the Middlebury College Museum of Art, the Program in Film and Media Culture, the Department of Geography, and the Department of History of Art and Architecture. Free.
